Golden State Warriors win over the Brooklyn Nets; Stephen Curry sets another NBA record

Golden State Warriors win their Sunday night games against Brooklyn Nets by 120-114. The win was led by the great play of the Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant duo.

The game on the Sunday night suddenly turned into a 3 point shootout which was managed by the player Stephen Curry of the Warriors.

Steven Curry who finished the game with 35 points managed to make another NBA record with his seen 3-pointers.

Kevin Durant, on the other hand, added in 24 points to Warriors who were seemed to be coasting off before Nets suddenly made a close comeback to the win.

Curry was able to hold the Nets back with his final 3 pointers shot with only 1:07 time reaming for the game. In the previous seven games, Curry has made at least five 3-pointers which allowed him to break the previous record of George McCloud. George McCloud held the record for making five 3-pointers in six consecutive games during the 1995-1996 season.

Curry said to media, “Nets got hot in the fourth quarter trying to make a comeback but we made enough plays down the stretch to ensure our victory.”

Golden State Warriors have won 4 games in a row and losing only one. They finished three of their games with at least a difference of 20 points. They are close to breaking the franchise record which is finishing four straight games with 20 points victory. This record is previously held by San Francisco Warriors from back in 1966-67 season.
