Steve Kerr manages to remain one of the most entertaining coaches in NBA today.
Fresh off of his third title during the previous four seasons and now the fifth year; Golden State Warriors’ coach made a funny exit on the Monday night’s preseason game against Phoenix Suns following his ejection.
After his argument with the star Stephen Curry for a foul during the third quarter, Kerr received two technical fouls from the referee that prompted his immediate ejection.
However, this did not seem to upset Kerr that much.
Kerr was clearly heard saying these words any time, “I did not want to be here anyway” before he made out his exit while waving a farewell to the referees.
Unfortunately for Warriors, they got defeated by Phoenix Suns by 117-109.
Post game interview, Ker told reporters jokingly, “honestly I just wanted to leave early so I could be the first one on the buffet”.
On a more serious front, Kerr was seriously frustrated at his ejection because he did not go out on the court for being ejected.
Kerr said that “I was trying to make a point for my guys and I was trying to back them up. We had all of these offensive fouls one after another. It was finally time that I had enough”.
