The Sunday night football game between the Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers ended with a 24-16 win for the Packers at the Lambeau Field. QB of the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers led the team with his superb 3 TDs.
Jones with his fellow Green Bay Packers teammate Jamaal Williams totaled in for 156 rushing yards while the former made it to the end zone nearly 3 times.
On the final possession, Panthers drove for their 18th play to have an 88-yard drive. However, Christian McCaffery was stopped only two yards short of the goal line with only 4 seconds left to the game.
McCaffery, who entered for the panthers in this game by being the eliding NFL player in rushing yards per game, as well as scrimmage yards and total TDs, only rushed for 20 times to have 108 rushing yards along with 6 catches for 33 passing yards. However, he was still never able to come close to hurt the scoring lead of the Green Bay Packers.
QB of Panthers, Kyle Allen had 307 throwing yards while DJ Moore made 9 catches for a total of 120 yards but it also was not enough to shake the Green Bay Packers.
The second half was started by Packers but with time, the momentum of the game started to swing in favor of Panthers. Then, Aaron Rodgers made a pass to Davante Adams for a gain of 38 and then Green Bay Packers received 7 receptions from Adams for 118 yards.
McCaffery tried his best to match with Jones for the TD lead during the 4th quarter but failed to do so. Up next for the Packers is the bye week for Week 11 and after that, they will go to San Francisco for a game against the 49ers who are still unbeaten in the season.
As for the Panthers, they will host their NFC South rivals Atlanta Falcons who are coming off their first win of the season on the road against the New Orleans Saints.
