Harden scores 35, points as Rockets beat Raptors by 107-95

On Tuesday night game, James Harden and his team Houston Rockets saw their hard earned big lead getting evaporated. However, in the end, they still managed to maintain their winning streak.

Harden who scored 34 points, scored 19 of those in the fourth quarter while Gerald Green also scored 11 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter. With their efforts in the late fourth quarter, Houston Rockets won over the Toronto Raptors by 107-95.

From Rockets side, Eric Gordon and Austin Rivers both scored 13 points each as the Rockets won their sixth consecutive victory which matches their season high wins.

As for Toronto Raptors, they were led by Kawhi Leonard who scored 26 points while Serge Ibaka scored 10 points with 15 rebounds, Pascal Siakam scored 17 points Danny Green added in his 14 points for the team. With this win, Toronto Raptors’ 7-game winnings streak at home comes to an end.

Harden who is the leading NBA scorer this season, made 12 out of his 30 shots which also include his three of nine.

Chris Paul of Houston said about his MVP teammates that they make scoring look so easy. However, he still cautioned others, “If it was that easy, everybody would be doing it.”

Harden who has now scored 18000 points in his entire NBA career has now scored 28 points or more in 39 consecutive games. This is the second longest streak of NBA history. The first place goes to Wilt Chamberlain’s 71 games streak.

Harden said, “we locked back in. our second unit was amazing, they made unbelievable stops and created opportunities for the offense and that was the game.”

Up next Houston Rockets will be hosting a game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night. As for Toronto Raptors, they will be playing against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night.
