Ibrahimovic and Antuna leads Galaxy’s win over Real Salt Lake

Los Angeles Galaxy under the lead of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Uriel Antuna manage dot win over Real Salt Lake by 2-1 on Sunday night match of football. With this win, Galaxy extends its winning streak to 7 games. Huesca

Sebastian Lletget who was being hounded by Salt lake’s players made a cross around the opponent team’s defender to pass it to Ibrahimovic for the first time, who then made a left-footer that made the score 2-1 in the 78th minutes of the game.

Antuna, the 21 years old who had signed a one-year lone contract from Manchester City over to Galaxy on Jan 29th also scored his first goal of the MLS match in the 16th minutes that allowed the Galaxy to be at 7-1-1 lead.

As for Ibrahimovic’s, he had a sidestepped pass from Diego Polenta to the lead Chris Pontius who then passed it to Antuna who then scored it into an empty net.

The score was tied at 1-1 after Herrera shot the ball which deflected off the Galaxy’s goalkeeper David Bingham to Donny Toia near the post during eh 64th minute.

With this loss, Real Salt Lake who are currently at 3-5-1, have their 2 game winning streak snapped.

Galaxy has managed to secure 13 points in April this year which is the highest in their franchise history. The last time the galaxy had this high points in April was back in 1998 when they finished the season with 68 points and won over the Supporter. They scored 15 points in April of that year.
