The Canadian teenager Felix Auger-Aliassime shocked the tennis world by defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas and gaining his first Top-10 victory of the career as he made it into the third round of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.

Tsitsipas, who was being considered as the future of tennis after defeating Rodger Federer and reaching his first semi-finals of Australian Open, was dismantled by a layer who is only 2 years younger than him.

The 18 years old Felix Auger-Aliassime’s talent is not a hidden secret from the world after he made it to the finals of the Rio Open last month. He finished the match with a win by 6-4 and 6-2.

The Canadian teenager showed his immense talent as he maintained an unbeaten record against the junior players after defeating Tsitsipas in their first ever career meeting.

This was also the second match of Felix Auger-Aliassime against a Top 20 player but he showed no hesitation on his way to victory.

After breaking through the top 100 list last month, Felix Auger-Aliassime is on his way to enter the Top 50.

Up next, Felix Auger-Aliassime will be facing either the Japanese player Yoshihito Nishioka or the Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut.
