Jeremy Lin, while reflecting upon the state of his career was moved to tears last weekend. Lin is currently in the free agency and NBA teams have little interest in him. The guard is pretty hurt at this and he described the feelings as to how it is right now.
During an event in Taiwan, Lin said, “In English, there’s a saying, and it says, ‘Once you’ve hit rock bottom, the only way is up. Rock bottom just seems to keep getting more and more rock bottom for me. So the free agency has been tough because I feel like in some ways the NBA’s kind of given up on me.”
Lin has played a total of 74 games in the NBA and started 4 games for the NBA teams like Toronto Raptors and Atlanta Hawk during eh regular season of 2018-2019. He had scored on average 9.6 points in every game along with 3.1 assists and 2.4 rebounds.
During the playoffs, Lin made his appearance only in 8 games and was on the court for only about 3.4 minutes per game.
The days “Linsantiy” which started for him back in 2011 when he broke with New York Knicks are now coming to an end. He now might have to consider playing abroad with CSKA Moscow already interested in him. He can now hope to reignite his career in Russia.
