Joe Joyce wins on points against Bryant Jennings as he extends his perfect record

Joy Joyce, in his career’s toughest challenger so far, against Bryant Jennings was able to win on points at the fight held in London at O2 on Saturday night.

Joyce aka the Juggernaut was able to extend his career record to 10 wins in a row from the unanimous points decisions of ringside judges. The three judges scored him 118-109, 117-110, and 115-112.

Joyce was able to retain his WBA Gold heavyweight title despite having pushed to the limit for the first rough fight of his professional career.

Joyce was able to be the busy fighter in the opening rounds but he recovered more shots than his opponent especially after a left hook to the body delivering massive damage.

However, Joyce soon recovered from the blow and made use of his long reach to take the advantage and to land in jabs as he kept Jennings at a distance during eh 2nd round.

He continued his assault with a front foot in the 3rd as he unleashed a flurry of fast pouches to win the round.

With Jennings tired in the 4th, Joyce upped his efforts with his fast strikes and the round ended with a tired Jennings making it back to his corner.

However, the 5th saw Jennings having found some speed as he landed a right-hand punch along with enjoying landing in some punches to the body despite being slow on strikes compared to Joyce.

Still not worried about being behind on the scorecards, Jennings tried to close the gap between him and Joyce in the 6th and then in the 7th to score huge points in the fight.

Joyce got careful in the 8th but still was caught by a clean uppercut from Jennings which was followed by a fast left hook.

Jennings tried to take the fight in the 9th round to Joyce but instead had one point deducted for his low blow in the 10th.

Joyce continued with his own shots in the 11th but was still caught by some clean shots during eh final minute of the round.

Despite having suffered a minor onslaught from Jennings during the 12th round, Joyce was able to claim the victory on his way to make it to the heavyweight division.
