Justise Winslow continues to stay with Miami Heat. The forward out of Duke has agreed to stay with the team for another three years for a contract deal of about 39 million dollars.
This new contract extension is pretty strange because lately, Winslow had been in rumors for trade. However, Miami Heat just went ahead with a rookie extension deal and closed off all the free agent market. With this move, Heat appears to be putting an end to the trade rumors once and for all.
22 years old Winslow was picked by Miami Heat back in 2015’s NBA draft as the 10th pick. One other reason for Winslow’s picking was him winning the national title in his lone season with Dukes. In his short but glorious career of 164 games, Winslow managed to average 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2 assists per game.
