Kansas City Chiefs 26-3 Chicago Bears: Chiefs kept in playoff bye contention

The game for the NFL between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Chicago Beas ended in a dominant 26-3 win for the Chiefs. QB for the Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes outplayed the QB Mitchell Trubisky of the Bears as he threw 2 TDs as well as made 1 rushing TD to let the hopes for the Chiefs’ playoff bye alive.

Patrick Mahomes was playing his first big game for the Kansas City Chiefs at the Soldier Field in what was a devastating loss for the slumping Bears in this NFL season that started with their hopes of reaching the playoffs.

Bears passed the option to acquire Trubisky in favor of Trubisky for their no. 2 overall pick from 2017’s draft. Mahomes was acquired by the Kansas City Chiefs as there no. 10th pick and then he went on to win the MVP award of NFL in the last season.

As or Trubisky, he has not performed in the way that the Bears had hoped from him and with their hope to make it to the playoffs already coming to an end, they let the NFC championship game slip from their hands against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Hall of Famer Kurt Warner achieved that feat in his 32 game appearances.

Mahomes also had 75 TDs on his passes which is also the fastest player record for this particular mark.

As for Trubisky, he threw 34 passes of which he completed 18 for 157 passing yards. With this loss, Bears are now 7-8 on the season.
