LaMarcus Aldridge in the basketball game on Thursday night between San Antonio Spurs VS OKC Thunder scored his career high of eye-popping 56 points. This was one of the most eye-popping games of NBA this season.
Aldridge led the Spurs to outlast the OKC Thunder by 154-147 in the double overtime.
Aldridge with his 56 points has the second highest performance this season. He is also the first player after the Spurs’ Tony Parker who scored 50 points since November 5th, 2008.
Aldridge who played for 49 minutes on Thursday night shot 20 of his 33 from the field and 16 of 16 on free throws along with 9 rebound and 4 blocks.
Derrick White of San Antonio also scored his career-high 23 points.
As for the OKC Thunder, they were led by Russell Westbrook, who scored 24 points with 24 assists and 13 rebounds, which has allowed him to set his career high in assists along with matching the triple-double in league history.
Pau George of the Thunder scored 30 points while Jerami Grant added in his career high of 23 points.
The surging San Antonio Spurs have won 6 of their last 7 games with 14 of 18 games as they have managed to make it to the sixth place on the tightly packed Western Conference. They are three games behind OKC Thunder who are in the Third position.
