The right hand of the Houston Astros; Lance McCullers Jr. is going to miss out the entire season of 2019 following the arm surgery of Tommy John.
According to the official report from Houston Astros released on Tuesday, McCullers had his elbow surgery done for the Ulnar Collateral Ligament on Tuesday.
McCullers this season made 22 starts and was 10-6 with 3.86 ERA. He also made three relief appearances this year for Houston Astros and strike out 142 in 128 1/3 innings. Before the All-Star break, McCullers was 10-4. He was placed on the disabled list from August 5th to September 24th following discomfort in his elbow.
McCullers did make it back in the final week of the regular season and for the three scoreless relief appearances.
