Leonard scores 36 points to lead Raptors past 76ers by 113-102

Although Kawhi Leonard insists to media that he does not try to do anything big on the games, his numbers say otherwise for him.

On the Wednesday night game between the Toronto Raptors vs. Philadelphia 76ers, Raptors came out victorious by 113-102 thus handing 76ers their 13th straight defeat in Canada.

Kawhi Leonard scored 36 points; whereas Jonas Valanciunas scored his season-high 26 points for the Raptors. Jonas Valanciunas scored 18 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter. Serge Ibaka also pitched in his 18 points to Raptors to snap from their Monday’s loss to Denver Nuggets. With this win, Raptors have won 9 out of 10 games which is actually the best record of NBA at 21-5 and 11-3 at home.

Leonard is on a roll this season as he scored his season-high 37 points on last Thursday game against Golden State Warriors. Leonard is the man who led his team for four straight wins.

Nick Nurse; the Raptors coach said, “He is really an immense talent.” When the stakes get a little bit high, he is going to play his hand a little harder”.

Leonard has played against 76ers 12 times in his career now and he never lost even once to them. He even won the last 2 games of this season against 76ers.

As for 76ers, they were led by JJ Redick who scored 25 points for the team whereas Ben Simmons scored 8 points with his 11 assists and 10 rebounds.

Up next, 76ers will visit Detroit Pistons for a game on Friday night whereas Toronto Raptors are up against Brooklyn Nets on Friday night.
