Lillard and Aminu led Portland’s blowout win over the Hawks by 118-98

Damian Lillard said that Portland Trail Blazers are making the best of the seemingly tough situation right after losing players like Jusuf Nurkic and CJ McCollum with season-ending injuries.

Lillard with his 36 points and Al-Farouq Aminu with his 17 points and 11 rebounds led the Portland’s win over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night by 118-98.

With this win, Blazers have now extended their winning streak to the season-high 6 games.

This was Lillard’s 26th game where he scored at least 30 points as he outplayed Young who scored 18 of his total 26 points during the first quarter.

With this win, Blazers have now won 9 of their last 10 games and they currently rank 3rd in the Western Conference.

As for Atlanta Hawk, who were currently on their season high of 3 wins in a row; their streak was snapped on the night.

Trae young led the Atlanta Hawks with his 26 points while John Collins scored 20 points for the Hawks who seemed to have no solution for stopping Lillard.

Up next, Trail Blazers will play against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night while Atlanta Hawks will host a game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night.
