Irving’s late rally lets Celtics win over Pacers by 114-112

The Boston Celtics seem to be already playing at the level of playoffs with only 2 weeks remaining for the regular season.

They started their preparation for playoffs by beating the team they might possibly face off in the postseason as it starts.

With Kyrie Irving’s late layup, Boston Celtics managed to defeat Indian pacers by 114-112 on Friday night.

With this win, Boston Celtics are now ranked 4th in the Eastern Conference. Both Indiana Pacers and Celtics are 45-31 on the season. However, with Celtics being 2-1 in threw regular season series over Pacers, they receive the home court advantage for the first round series.

Irving led the Celtics with his 30 points along with 5 assists. Al Horford also helped the team by scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds while Aron Baynes added in his 13 points along with 13 assists.

As for the Indiana Pacers, they were led by Bojan Bogdanovic who scored 27 points for the team while Thaddeus Young scored 18 points with 9 rebounds and Myles Turner finished for the night with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

The game was a thriller as it featured 10 ties and 6 of the lead changes on the night.

Up next, Indian pacers will host a game against the Orlando Magic on Saturday night while Boston Celtics will host a game against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night.
