No matter what Bulls wanted him to do, whether it is a driving inside for a poster worth dunk shot or a burying 3-pointer, he did it all on Friday night.
The Friday night game of basketball between Chicago Bulls VS Orlando Magic ended in Bulls win by 90-80.
Lauri Markkanen was the hero for the Bulls who scored his season-high 32 points in this game. This was a massive win for the Bulls who have now won 3 of their last 15 games.
Markkanen said, “I ink I am able to do multiple things. Take one thing away from me and I am able to do another. I think that we were able to do a good job of organizing their coverage and use it as our advantage”.
Markkanen missed the start of the season due to his left elbow injury and was playing in his 10th game this season. The 7 feet tall paler also went for 4 for 6 from beyond the arc.
Other players from Bulls like Robin Lopez scored 14 points, Kris Dunn scored 12 points with 7 assists and Justin Holiday finished for the night with his 11 points and 11 rebounds.
As for Orlando Magic, this was their fifth defeat in last 7 games. Orlando Magic were led by Evan Fournier who scored 24 points while Nikola Vucevic, who came after missing one game due to the birth of his son, scored 19 points and 9 rebounds.
This was the second lowest point total for the Magic as they shot below 33 percent and they were not exactly all that good on their defense either.
Aaron Gordon, who scored 14 points for Orlando said, “They are a scrappy team and they like to play hard, but this was the game that we literally gave away to them. We were not able to do what we needed on our offensive end. We also did not take care of our defense. We just came out there without a plan. I do not know what we were thinking about tonight. Obviously, we were not ready to play the game and had a disappointing loss”.
Up next, Orlando Magic will host a game against Miami Heat on Sunday while Chicago Bulls will play against Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday.
