Marshawn Lynch of the Oakland Raiders will be absent for a month suffering from groin injury

Marshawn Lynch the running back of the Oakland Raiders will be out of the team for a month at least. He is suffering from a groin injury.

According to media sources, Marshawn Lynch underwent an MRI Scan this week. The scans have revealed that he will be put on the injured reserve list for the time being and that it can take up to eight weeks for him to make a comeback.

Raiders lost a game against Seattle Seahawks by 27-3 last week in London. The timing is really bad for Raiders as their best running back is out for a long time now.

At the moment if Marshawn Lynch returns sooner, it will be for week 15 in a match against Cincinnati Bengals.

Head Coach Jon Gruden said to media that, “we are definitely concern about him but we are also hopeful that we could still use him. We will let you know next week. Anytime a man like this injured, I am concerned.”

39 years old has a stat of 90 carries and three touchdowns in this season so far along with 15 catches for 85 yards. His contract will end with this season and there is no guarantee as to If he will be back in 2019 or not.
