Ohara Davies books the semifinals spot in The Golden Contract by beating Logan Yoon

The fight for the semifinals spot in The Golden Contract was secured by Ohara Davies as he blasted his opponent Long Yoon for a 7th round stoppage victory in the lightweight division fight at York Hall.

Ohara Davies sized up his opponent before he rushed in with hammering blows of his right to book himself a semifinals spot in The Golden Contract.

Yoon also had his own success but following a barrage of the heavy left during the 7th caused his side to make the decision that Yoon had enough of the punishment against Davies.

Davies said after the fight, “Yoon has an amazing chin and I was thinking in the fight, what was going on? But now, I want to get a burger. The joy is a feeling now is unspeakable. This is the humble OD.”

In another fight of The Golden Contract Tyrone McKenna was able to beat his opponent Mike Sakyi, the champion of the Southern Area, with the unanimous points win.

The Belfast many fought a close fight in the first 2 rounds as he took control of the fight and dominated his opponent on way to secure a decision of 100-90 form 2 judges and then 99-91 from the third one.

The fight of The Golden Contract between Mohamed Mimoune and Darren Surtees ended within 5 rounds following a KO punch from Mimoune.

Mimoune, the boxer from France showed his level of both size and class which he used in 2017 to beat Sam Eggington. He made short work of his opponent to plant him on canvas and forced the referee to intervene and call the fight off.

As for The Golden Contract of Keiran Gething and Jeff Ofori, who only came on a 48 hours short notice ended with Ofori booking a semifinals spot in The Golden Contract.
