OKC Thunder end their 9-game losing skid by beating San Antonio Spurs for 109-103 victory

Chris Paul is simply not slowing down for his career’s 16th NBA season as he led the OKC Thunder to another win against the San Antonio Spurs.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 25 points while Paul scored 16 points as the OKC Thunder made a rally to beat the San Antonio Spurs by 109-103 this Thursday night. With this win, Thunders have finally ended their 9-game losing skid.

Paul had many memorable moments as he played against the Spurs which include his game-winning shot playing for the LA Clippers back in the playoffs of 2015 that eliminated the Spurs. As for the Thursday night game for the OKC Thunder, there were simply now inner shots but Paul did manage to drop the Spurs during the 4th quarter hard.

Lonnie Walker IV of the Spurs said of Paul, “That is simply who he relay is. It is like he has no name. He is simply a great player. He was able to make the shots for the OKC Thunders when it mattered the most and it was mostly in the 4th quarter as he led his team to this win.”

Paul scored 10 of his points for the night during the 4th quarter as he helped the Thunders to beat the Spurs for the 4th time in a row as they overcame the 30 points barrage from DeMar DeRozan.

OKC Thunder has won this battle between the 7th and the 8th seeds of the Western Conference as they now extend their lead on Spurs by 44 wins.

Paul said, “This was a tough place to play and a tough place to win. At some point, we could have lied down but we are not like that. Guys kept on playing and kept on competing.”

Up next, OKC thunder will play on Saturday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers while Spurs will take on Milwaukee Bucks’
