Paris Masters; Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer to face off each other in semi-finals

Novak Djokovic manages to extend his winning streak to 21 with the latest win in the Paris Masters quarter finals match. Now he is set to face off the legendary Roger Federer for the semi finals clash.

Djokovic managed to defeat his opponent Marin Cilic in a tough match by 4-6, 6-2 and 6-3. As for Federer, he maintained his form in the French Capital like the last time he did back in 2011 against Kei Nishikori by a 6-4 and 6-4 win.

The Serbian, Djokovic managed to get the world no. 1 spot on Monday from Rafael Nadal, was in a clinch during first set defeat but ultimate managed to set his place firm in the last four of the tour event.

Djokovic has now the winning record of 16-2 against Marin Cilic in their last 18 matches and ended this match within 2 hours and 11 minutes.

Djokovic is now set to face Federer and this will be their 47th meeting.

Federer who is on road to win his 100th career Tour Title barely had to perform as he defeated Japan’s Nishikori easily in their 6 meeting as well. Federer has been defeated by Djokovic in their last 3 meetings and now they are set for the semi finals once again.

The reigning US Open and Wimbledon champion has not lost to Swiss since 2015.
