Paris Saint Germain once again failed to win the French League title after the lost the match against the Nantes on Wednesday by 3-2.
PSG would have easily won the title if they had sealed the title win on Sunday and later on Weekend but in their 2 matches they only scored 1 point. The defending champions are now in the 2nd place with 17 points and 6 games remaining.
They still have the chance to celebrate their win if they beat Monaco at home on Sunday. They are also tied for 2nd place with Lille and if Lille loses their game against Toulouse they also have a chance.
PSG only needed to have a draw on Sunday to win their 8th league title in their history but a 5-1 loss against Lille halted them in their efforts.
Before that loss, they needed a home win playing against Strasbourg but the match ended in a draw by 2-2.
