Rain delay momentarily stops the game at the Brewers’ Miller Park but retractable roof resumes the play

Things are going pretty bad for the Milwaukee Brewers these days. How bad you ask? Well, they had the retractable roof at the Miller Park stadium but the rain caused a delay during the 7th inning on Tuesday night at the same park which ahs retractable roof.

A few moments after the catcher of the St. Louis Cardinals Yadier Molina snapped off the 1-1 tie of both teams after making the 2nd homer for his team, it began to pour heavy rain as the roof was wide open. It took a few minutes before the fan-shaped panels were closed. In total, the play was stopped for 9 whole minutes as fans sitting in lower seats looked for cover.

After the roof finally closed off, the ground crew came on to the field and spread the drying agent on the mound.

Only after that was done, was the play resumed and Brewers Matt Albers returned to the mound.
