The former controversial linebacker of the San Francisco 49ers; Reuben Foster has been claimed by Washington Redskins off waivers when the 49ers released him.
Foster was arrested on Saturday night on the account of the cages for misdemeanor domestic violence battery at the team’s hotel in Tampa.
49ers release Foster from the team on Sunday morning just before they played against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
As for Foster now at Redskins, has many of the former teammates like Jonathan Allen, Daron Payne, and Ha-Ha Clinton Dix. All of them were from Alabama and they have all given positive remarks to the team’s decision to sign in Foster.
Redskins’ senior vice president of player personnel Doug Williams, following this claim off waiver of Foster said to media, “the team understands the full severity of the allegations against Foster. If these allegations prove true, rest assure our organization does not condone such charges. Let me be clear on this, Reuben will have to go through the full legal process, investigation and disciplinary action from NFL.”
