Cristiano Ronaldo was walking off the field after getting his second win at the Old Trafford. Suddenly two fans holding their phones high came running on to the field in efforts to reach the Portuguese star.
One of the boys was tackled by a security officer hard whereas the other one was held back by force. However, to the amazement of these two young fans, five times world player responded with a smile and gave them the selfie they were craving so much.
Ronaldo seems to be enjoying his return to his former club Manchester United on Tuesday night.
Ronaldo’s team; Juventus managed to defeat United by 1-0 for having their third straight win in the Championship league. Now the Italian club is only a brink away from being qualified.
Although Ronaldo did not make the only goal of the game, he did help it pass to the right wing to Paulo Dybala in the 17th minute of the first half.
After their defeat, United manager; Jose Mourinho said, “we played really well against one of the biggest, really biggest candidates who can win the Championship league.”
Mourinho had immense praise for the Italian club and not only for Ronaldo but for two of the great center-backs of Juventus.
Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri in his press talk said, “the players of the club have shown today as to when to play slow or when to speed up the game.”
With this win, Juventus has nine points. They need five more to make it even with the second place United.
