Spanish League; Sevilla stumbles again as they lost to Leganes

On Friday, Sevilla suffered from one of the worst defeats in their home games after they lost the game against Leganes by 3-0 in the Spanish League. With this loss, they have stumbled back for the place in the Champions League.

This was the second loss of Sevilla in a row with 3rd in their last 4 games. They are tied with Getafe and Valencia for a chance to accompany Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico into the CL next season.

As of now, the fifth-place Sevilla is now tied on points with Getafe, who are at 4th place and are three points ahead are Valencia. As for Getafe, they are going to host a game against Girona on Sunday while Valencia will be playing against the last ranked Huesca.

The first goal of Leganes was scored by Youssef En-Nesyri after he was passed the ball with a slight touch who then curled the ball into the net during the 8th minute of the game.

Martin Braithwaite, the forward for the Denmark team scored his own and team’s 2nd goal and assisted on the other 2 goals for Leganes. He scored his goal during the 20th minute of the game after he controlled the ball using his chest and open up a firing angle to score a goal past the defender of Sevilla, Jesus Navas.

As for the third goal, it was made during the 82nd minute by Oscar Rodriguez who was assisted by Braithwaite.
