Wade’s final visit at Garden spoiled as Celtics beat Heat by 110-105

Boston Celtics showed a lot of appreciation for Dwayne Wade’s last visit at the Madison Square Garden. Celtics were also sure to give Wade a memory of his last loss there.

Kyrie Irving scored 25 points which included his last pair of free throws as Boston Celtics defeated the Miami Heat by 110-105 on Monday night.

Al-Horford scored 19 points along with 11 rebounds and 10 assists for the Celtics how are now 46-32 on the regular season. They are trying their hardest to defeat the Indian Pacers for the 3 seed spot in the Eastern Conference rankings.

Irving talking about his teammates who are now 2 weeks away from playoffs, said, “We will see when we get there. I am pretty sure as to against whom we are going to play but let’s see how everything pans out.”

As for Miami heat, they were led by Groan Dragic who scored 30 points while Bam Adebayo added in his 19 points along with 14 rebounds while Dwayne Wade finished for the night with his 17 points as well as 7 assists.

Miami Heat, who are now 38-39 on the regular season, is maintaining its half a game lead over the Orlando Magic for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference standings.

After 2 nights of Wader’s last game against the New York Knicks at the Madison Square Garden where he not only received a warm welcome but also a  victory for the team, he received the similar warm welcome from the Boston Celtics at the TD Garden on their Monday night game.

Before the game started, the Danny Ainge, the Celtics’ president of basketball operations gave Wade a plaque for commemorating his accomplishments in NBA.

After that when he was subbed in the first quarter of the game, he received a loud standing ovation from the Boston Celtics fans.

Up next, Miami Heat will host a game against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.
