Le’Veon Bell the running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers did not report to the team on Tuesday which was the delaine for reporting. With him absent, he is now going to remain ineligible for the rest of the season.
Bell who was previously franchise tagged for another year now has to forfeit his 3.74 million pounds of tender and will also be not eligible to play for the rest of the 2018’s season.
Bell has already lost his chance to claim about 6.56 million pounds by missing the first 10 weeks of the season.
Mike Tomlin head coach of the team told media that he has no expectation as if Bell would report to team or not.
Tomlin said, “I have told you guys over and over again that a reaction will come from me only when he comes out of the door. Until then I am going to focus on the guys who are working hard and appropriately. That is why I don’t waste my time and theirs.”
