Wideout A.J. Green of the Cincinnati Bengals is out for the rest of the season after he suffered a torn ligament of the right big toe.
According to media reports, this kind of injury can take up to three to four months for full recovery but he will b fully recovered and present for team’s activities until May of 2019.
He was seen walking in the front door of the Bengals facilities on Monday morning but Marvin Lewis, head coach of the team declines to give any statement about Green’s health status.
30 years old Green went up t play against Denver Broncos on a non-contract during the second quarter. This was his first game back after missing three previous games.
Green now finishes his season this year with 46 catches for 694 yards and six TD in 9 games.
This is not all, following this injury and his all-time low stats this season; he could be looking to miss out on being named to Pro Bowl for the first time in his eight years long career.
As for Bengals, they are already on a four-game losing streak with their QB Andy Dalton out of season after suffering thumb injury.
