Amir Khan has stoppage victory against Billy Dib in Saudi Arabia showcase

Amir Khan is his showcase fight at Saudi Arabia on Friday night was able to show off his signature lightning-fast punches on his way to defeat Billy Dib.

Khan, in an explosive performance, was able to stop Dib in the 4th round as he now keeps his hopes alive for his one final title fight against the boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.

Khan was having this rebound fight following his failed attempt to win the WBO Welterweight belt from Terrence Crawford earlier this year. He once again showed to the world that he still has those quick hands for which he is renowned for.

Khan first dropped Dib to the canvas in the 2nd round after he landed a counter left hook.

Dib went into a defensive shell during the 3rd round but Khan still delivered one hell of a beating to his opponent.

Khan was able to hit Dib on the mark with his double left hook and then unleashed his fast combination to which his opponent had now answer causing Dib to fell on the canvas. Following his fall, his side threw in the towel.

Dib was fighting against Amir Khan after the previous challenger for Amir Khan, Neeraj Goyat had to withdraw from the fight following his injures in a car crash.

The former unified Super-lightweight champion, Amir Khan after his fight with Dib held high the WBC International Belt in Saudi Arabia.

Khan is now looking ahead for a chance to fight against the 40 years old Manny Pacquiao who himself is going to fight against Keith Thurman for the WBA welterweight title next week.
