Brandon Marshall the veteran Wide Receiver of the New Orleans Saints has been released. He was released due to not being active on the game since he was signed back one month ago.
With the release of Marshall, there is now a room for the TE Eric Swoop on the roster. Eric Swoop was claimed by Saints off waivers after his release from Indianapolis Colts.
34 years old Marshal Brandon has 8 1000 yards seasons in his career and has played in six Pro Bowls. This season alone he has been cut down by two teams.
As for Swoope, he started his career back in 29015 with Indianapolis Colts. He played in 16 games of the 2016 NFL season and made 15 catches for 297 yards along with 1 TD. As for 2017 season, he spent the season on injured reserve due to a knee injury.
Before being cut down by Colt this season, Swoope played in 7 games in which he caught 8 passes for 87 yards along with 3 TDs.
