Billy Joe Saunders was fined by BBB of C for 100,000 pounds for bringing disrepute to sport after his hearing.
Despite this fine, Saunders is still fee to defend his world title in his fight against Demetrius Andrade which is going to be held next month in Boston.
Saunders was called in for the haring by BBB of C after he appeared on a video on the internet in which he was shown offering Class A drugs to a woman.
The boxer also has offered apology to the fans of the sports on Social media this Tuesday morning saying “he was totally in the wrong”.
The BBB of C on the fine payment by Saunders said that the fine payment will go to the charity of the BBB of C for the ex-boxers and ex-license holders who have fallen on hard times.
The content of the video is being investigated by Nottinghamshire Police Department. A spokesperson for department said to media that, “we were informed of this online viral video in which a woman was being offered a drug in exchange for committing an act of violence as well as sex act publically”.
The spokesperson further added, “Officers are going to identify and speak to all the people in this sickening video”.
29 years old Saunders is the undefeated WBO World Middleweight champion. He is going to defend for this title against Andrade on October 20th, 2018.
