Cavaliers hand 76ers first home loss with help from Clarkson and Hood

On the Friday night game of basketball between Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers, Cavs were able to win against the 76ers by 121-112. This is not all as with this win Cavs have snapped the perfect record of home wins previously held by 76ers.

Jordan Clarkson added 19 points, 14 of which he made in the fourth quarter and another 25 by Rodney Hood helped Cavs win this game.

76ers entered this game with being the lone undefeated 10-0 at home team while Cavs were 0-8 on the road which is their worst in their overall record as they stand 2-14 this season.

Head coach of Cavs; Larry Drew said to media that, “we are not looking at our record and going to count ourselves out of any game. We were aware it was a tough task. I am just glad that the guys played with all their efforts and energy and it finally paid off”.

From Cavaliers side, Colin Sexton added in 23 points, Cedi Osman scored 20 and Tristan Thompson had 18 points and 13 rebounds.

Philadelphia was led by Joel Embidd who made 24 points and 12 rebounds for the night.

Late in the game, Philadelphia 76ers were heavily booed by their sellout crowd.

Other players of 76ers like J.J. Redick scored 23 points and Ben Simmons and Jimmy Butler had 22 apiece for the 76ers. Simmons also added his 10 assists for the night.

Cleveland Cavaliers are going to host Houston Rockets on Saturday night and as for 76ers, they will play against Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night.
