Conley leads Grizzlies past Nets by 131-125 in 2OTs

Mike Conley the veteran point guard of the NBA showed the Memphis Grizzlies new kid Jaron Jackson Jr. as to how he can single-handedly defeat a team in 2 OTs.

On the Friday night game between Memphis Grizzlies vs. Brooklyn Nets, Grizzlies were able to win the game by 131-125.

From Memphis side, Conley scored 13 of the 14 points for the team in the second OT session and as for the rookie Jaren Jackson Jr., he scored his season high for the Memphis, 36 points.

Conley praised the 19 years old new teammate Jackson with words, “He has got a big heart. He has got the genes to make the big shots in the big time moments. I mean he is built for it. The shots he made tonight were some of the shots the kids his age won’t even go for”.

Jackson has now become the third youngest player in the NBA’s history to have scored a 30 points game. Other two are LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

Gasol for Grizzlies made 165 points with his 15 rebounds as the team snapped its 3-game losing streak.

Nets were led by D’Angelo Russell who scored 26 points for the night. DeMarre Carroll scored 21 points with his 12 rebounds for the Nets who lost their 5th straight game of the season.

Grizzlies will now visit Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday whereas Nets are up against Washington Wizards on Saturday night.
