Lillard scores record Portland 10 3s as they won over Magic by 115-112

Damian Lillard was not aware that he had scored 10 3-pointers on Thursday night game of Portland Trail Blazers against Orlando Magic. If he had realized it he would have had gone for the league’s record.

Damian Lillard said to media, “I honestly was not aware that I had made 10 3-pointers. If I had known I could have had definitely gone for the record. What was it? 14? Oh, I could have got that”.

Nonetheless, Lillard stretched for the franchise record with his 10 3-pointers as e scored 41 points for the night and allowed Trail Blazers to win against Orlando Magic by 115-112 on Wednesday night.

Jusuf Nurkic from Blazers side added in his 16 points with 13 rebounds as they stopped their season-high 3-game slide. Lillard further said to media about his 3 pointer shot, “It felt really good as I have been struggling with shooting 3s. I shot them a lot during practice, sometimes during practice, before practice and I have been shooting them and shooting them. It just felt really good”.

Now Lillard has to wait for another chance to go for the 14 ‘3-pointer’ record which is set by Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors earlier this season.

Portland finished for the night with their 19 3-pointers out of which Lillard Scored 7 of his 3-pointers in the third quarter which is also the franchise record for the most 3-pointers in a quarter.
