Davis and Holiday lead Pelicans to win over Wizards by 125-104

On Wednesday night game of basketball between New Orleans Pelicans vs. Washington Wizards, Davis led the Pelicans with his 28 points and 15 rebounds as they won over the Wizards by 125-104.

Anthony Davis said to media, “we had one hell of a game tonight. It’s good to see how we played and got to play like we did earlier this year. When Tim’s in the lineup he pushes the ball and lets Jrue be Jrue.”

Jrue Holiday scored 29 points for the Pelicans whereas Julius Randle added in his 23 points with 12 rebounds and Frazier also contributed with his 12 points and 12 assists. Nikola Mirotic also pitched in with his 15 points with 9 rebounds for the Pelicans.

As for Wizards, they were led by Kelly Oubre Jr. with his 22 points. John Wall from Wizards side added in 17 points while Bradley Beal of the Wizards scored 16 points with his 11 assists.

Washington Wizards have lost for the first time in their past seven meetings and the second time in the past 15 games.

Wizards will next visit Philadelphia on Fayyad night as for Pelicans they will visit Miami Heat on Friday night for a game.
