It has certainly taken a bit much longer then what many expected, but LeBron and Lakers have finally won their first game.
Lakers were able to manage their first victory against Phoenix Suns by 131-113. LeBron led the seven key players of Lakers as he scored 19 points. This is their first win of the season. James whose early three games with Lakers ended in a defeat, managed to do huge damage at the game in first three quarters. H watched the game end from the bench as the reserves finished it off.
James made a total of 10 assists, seven rebounds, and three steals in the game in addition to his 190 points. He also managed to shot 7 of the 16 form over the field. Other Lakers players like Lance Stephenson made 23 points, JaVale McGee made 20 points, Kyle Kuzma made 17 points, Josh Hart made 15 points, Kentavious Pope made 14 points and Lonzo Ball added in 12 points.
James after the game said to media, “it feels great. It is a win period. We feel good to know that what we have been doing over the training camp and these first few games to be better”.
Luke Walton: Coach of the Lakers also said to media, “our defense has gotten better. In the start our defense was soft. They missed some shots and that was what happened in our match against San Antonio Spurs they were able to make shots. We also need to get better at pour defense more.”
From Suns’ side, Devin Booker led the team with 23 points and the top overall pick of the Suns; DeAndre Ayton made 22 points and 11 rebounds.
