On the Saturday night between Fowler VS Paz, Anthony Fowler finished his year with a brutal first-round knockout win against the opponent Jose Carlos Paz at Sheffield Arena.
Fowler aka “The machine” was expected to get a few rounds under his experience against the experienced Argentinean opponent but as soon as the match started he exploded into action. Fowler finished the match with a brutal left hand in less than two minutes.

Fowler with this knockout win improves his knockout record by 9-0 with 8 Kos. Fowler is now likely to fight against domestic rivals like Scott Fitzgerald and Ted Cheeseman in much-anticipated matches next year.
Liverpool super-welterweight champion after his win said to media that, “I was really expecting a tough fight tonight. Paz won two fights against Mexicans before and he did so with great records and in their own home ground. So, I was ready to have a tough fight tonight.”
As for Fowler’s promoter, Eddie Hearn he confirmed to media that Fowler will now fight against Scott Fitzgerald in March. The winner of their match will fight with Ted Cheeseman later.
