Hornets top Celtics 117-112; Walker is the new NBA scoring leader with his 103 points in past two games

On Monday night basketball game of Charlotte Hornets vs. Boston Celtics; the new NBA scoring leader has been determined which is Kemba Walker.

Kemba Walker led the Hornets with his 43 points for the night which makes 103 points in total for the past two games. With his lead, Hornets were able to win against Boston Celtics by 117-112.

Walker followed up on his Saturday night performance of 60 points when Hornets lost the match against 76ers. He was impressive especially during the fourth quarter when he scored 21 points and made 14 off of his 25 shots which also includes his 7 3-pointers.

Walker after the game told media, “I just wanted to win and I wanted to win a close game. We have been close in every game so far. We have now been in close in few games about things did not go as we planned but tonight they went the way we thought and it felt good to win”.

Walker has also moved to pass the record of Warriors guard Stephen Curry for his NBA scoring lead of making 29.6 points on average per game.

That’s not all, Walker also moved passed the Curry’s record of the NBA lead for 3-pointers with his 65.

Boson Celtics will now host New York Knicks on Wednesday night and as for Charlotte Hornets, they are to host Indiana Pacers.
