Katie Taylor VS Cindy Serrano; Taylor won a dominant win over Serrano

Katie Taylor managed to gain a dominant victory over Cindy Serrano with shutout points and also defend her lightweight world titles in the fight in Boston.

Taylor who was a class above her opponent managed to retain her both IBF and WBA lightweight belts by gaining three identical scores of 100-90.

Taylor was greeted by a frenzied atmosphere as she made her way to the ring in the TD Garden’s boxing ring in Boson. She did take longer to get into her gloves but was able to produce a marvelous display of her skills rather sooner.

The first few rounds were quite normal but then Taylor started to show her skills in the third round and from thereon managed to gain complete control of the match.

Serrano was forced into survival mode in the third round as her eye was caught by swift five consecutive punches from Taylor. In the fifth round, Taylor delivered heavy handed hooks to her opponent’s body.

The fifth period was the one when Taylor showed her best to minutes of fighting as she sent the home favorite to midriff area.

Taylor continuously sent in thunderous combination shots towards her opponent as she was determinant to become the first one to defeat the Puerto Rican opponent.

Taylor tied of chasing her opponent throughout the whole match dropped her hands on sides and backed up onto the ropes and called out her challenger.

Serrano when tried to engage her opponent, Taylor placed herself in the full offensive mode. She ended the fight in the final radon with a barrage of shots. However, Serrano did manage to survive rather brilliantly until the final bell rang.
