Red Sox Catcher’s ball throw hit the umpire Joe West on shoulder

Something has happened at the Game1 of the ALCS on Saturday that has never happened before in all the history of Fenway Park.

While Jake Marisnick was trying to make it to the second base in eh eight innings; the Red Sox’s catcher Christian Vazquez happened to the throw the ball to the second baseman Brock Holt. Unfortunately, the ball tailed away a little and struck on to the right shoulder of the reviled umpire; Joe West.

Joe West could not doge the ball and that has been the thing of amusement for many of the MLB players out there.

With West not being able to dodge the ball thrown towards him has caused the Astros a base. Vasquez shot was headed straight for the center field, if Joe could have moved away a little faster.

This is the first time that something like this has happened. Now if the same thing is going to happen again many times in the game, the person who has seen it is going to say “oh yeah, I have seen that happen once”.
