Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Floyd; Dana White says the fight will happen in Octagon, not in the boxing ring

Dana White; the UFC president said to media that the fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Floyd Mayweather will happen only on his terms and that is in an Octagon.

White also confirmed to the TMZ reporters that the 2017 high profile boxing match event between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor will not repeat again.

Earlier this month, Mayweather also announced that he will not be fighting Nurmagomedov in the octagon which ahs placed the chances of their clash in doubts.

White said to TMZ, “Listen, if Mayweather wants a fight, then come and fight. You fight in the UFC. We are not boxing him. We have done that one time and now it’s over. You wanna fight? You come and fight, a real fight.”

Nurmagomedov at the moment is serving his suspension from Nevada Athletic State Commission as a result of a melee that broke out after the fight.

White also revealed as to what could be the next great fight for Nurmagomedov. He said, “Tony Ferguson is his best fight. It’s a fight to be waiting to happen. It currently depends on suspension and what happens next. We will see”.
