Lebedev VS Wilson; Denis Lebedev dominates Mike Lebedev in Monaco

Denis Lebedev continued s9i resurgence in the cruiserweight division as he outclassed his opponent Mike Wilson in a Saturday night boxing bout held in Monte Carlo.

39 years old Russian dominated the “White Delight” Wilson at the Casino de Monte Carlo by getting the unanimous decision points of 117-111, 119-109 and 119-109.

After this win, Lebedev is looking to fight against Oleksandr Usyk as his record improves to 32-2.

The fight started off at a slow pace as both men felt each other in opening minutes. Wilson sent some light jabs with little power behind them.

Russian working behind his southpaw stance upped his fight in the third round digging home into midriff area after a spiteful left hand landed in upstairs.

The Oregon man’s nose started to bleed in the fourth as he missed to land a swinging hook.

Lebedev received a series of uppercuts in the fifth but then countered with a slick left shot as he breached his opponent guard.

The left hand of Lebedev continued to wreak havoc until the match reaches the second half. Russian was clearly breaking down but was in refusal to finish the match off early.

The match was in complete control of Lebedev from the 8th round but Wilson valiantly hanged in the ring until the win was given to Lebedev by decision points.
