Naomi Osaka out from the upcoming Honk Kong Open due to back injury

Naomi Osaka; the US Open Champion has decided not to participate in the upcoming week’s Hong Kong Open to prevent the risk of aggravating her slight back injury. The news has been confirmed by the organizers of the tournament.

Japanese top player requires back treatment of her injury after suffering her defeat at the hands of unseeded player Anastasija Seveastova on Saturday at the China Open semi-final.

Osaka after her defeat in Semifinals of Chain Open said that this injury is a result of stress and fatigue and nothing more serious. However, she plans on not participating in the upcoming WTA Hong Kong Open which starts on Monday.

World No. 6 in a statement released by organizers told that, “I have been playing all week with this pain in my back. I have talked to doctors and they have advised me to take rest so that the injury may not further be aggravated and become more serious.”

A paler who I dead set on participating in the Hong Kong Open this coming Monday is the Chinese player Wang Qiang who apparently is in the best form of her life.

Wang also suffered defeat in the semi-final match of China Open against Caroline Wozniacki by 6-1 and 6-3. She has been carrying a thigh injury throughout this tournament.

28th rank Qiang said to media that, “I am going to try my best because I am going to face the same situation in future as well. I simply cannot give up easily.”
