Paris Masters; Djokovic stops Federer advances for the 100th tour title, Khachanov also advances to final

On the Saturday semi final match of Djokovic vs. Federer, Djokovic came out victorious in the three set thriller match. He is now set to face the other finalist of airs Master Khachanov who defeated Thiem earlier on Saturday.

The Serbian was able to maintain his dominance over the Swiss with a win by 7-6, 5-7 and 7-6 in three hours two minutes long match.

This is for the first time in the both champions 47 matches rivalry that Djokovic has managed to win four successive matches.

Djokovic has a good year as he not only won the Masters titles in Shanghai and Cincinnati but also claimed his second Grand Slam of the year at the US Open.

On Monday, Djokovic has a chance to make it back to the World no. 1, if he wins his fifth tour title of the year. As for Federer his hopes to become the second man to record 10-0th tour tile in career has been delayed. In addition to not bidding for the 100th carer tile, he also has now no chance to make it back to the World no. 1 ranking this year.

On the other semi final match of Paris Masters; Karen Khachanov maintained his performance as he defeated the world no. 8 and sixth seed of the tournament Dominic Thiem with a 6-4 and 6-1 win.

Now Karen Khachanov has to face off the toughest opponent of his career yet in form of Novak Djokovic.
