Pittsburgh Steelers 17-24 Denver Broncos; Broncos end Steelers winning streak

On the Sunday night game of Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Denver Broncos, Broncos were able to end the Steelers’ winning streak after winning the game by 24-17.

Shelby Harris of the Broncos intercepted the Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisberger in the endzone with only a minute left to the game.

Casey Keenum finished for the night with 197 yards his two TDs. The rookie player of Broncos Philip Lindsay had his own 110 rushing yards and a score. Last but not least, Emmanuel Sanders seven catches for 86 yards along with a TD allowed Denver Broncos to stay alive in the AFC playoff hunt.

With this defeat Steelers, who were on a winning streak are now at 7-3-1 for the season.  As for Broncos they are now at 5-6 for the season and have a chance in the AFC Playoff race.




Roethlisberger completed 41 of his 56 passes for 462 yards and made one TD pass. However, his two costly interceptions tied the game in the fourth quarter. The turnover happened when Lindsay on the 11th play made 79 yard drive with a two yard rushing TD.

FIRST QUARTER

Steelers 0-3 Broncos: Brandon McManus made a 41-yard field goal.

SECOND QUARTER

Steelers 3-3 Broncos: Chris Boswell made a 41-yard field goal.

Steelers 3-10 Broncos: Case Keenum made a 10-yard touchdown pass to Matt LaCosse.

Steelers 10-10 Broncos: Boswell made a two-yard touchdown pass to Alejandro Villanueva.

THIRD QUARTER

Steelers 17-10 Broncos: Ben Roethlisberger made a 97-yard touchdown pass to JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Steelers 17-17 Broncos: Case Keenum made a five-yard touchdown pass to Emmanuel Sanders.

FOURTH QUARTER

Steelers 17-24 Broncos: Phillip Lindsay made a two-yard touchdown run.
