Quarterback Jameis Winston of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is being used by a female Uber driver from Arizona. The law suit is for the alleged sexual assault/ the court documents states that woman filed for this suit on Tuesday morning in Arizona. She is seeking 75000 dollars in damages from this lawsuit.
According to the statement of woman, Winston grabbed her crotch in the drive-thru of a Mexican restaurant. The incident happened back in March of 2016 at Phoenix, Arizona.
When the allegations were presented, NFL went into a Long and through investigation procedure. In the end they determined that the story of the woman is “consistent and credible”. This year in June, league has already suspended Winston from first three games of the season.
NFL released the statement at that time, “Winston touched the female driver in inappropriate and sexual manner without her consent”.
The Buccaneers have not commented on this during Winston’s suspension nether have they revealed any news of a contract with him.
The suit has just been filed when Winston just reaches the last game of his suspension.
He not only missed the team’s opening match held at New Orleans against the last year’s Super Bowl Champions; Philadelphia Eagles. 24 years old Jameis Winston will be eligible for playing again for the team after their mach against Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday.
