Serena Williams and Sloane Stephens will not participate in next week’s Fed Cup final against Czech Republic

Serena Williams and Sloane Stephens are both going to miss out playing in the Fed Cup Final against Moscow next week due to the four o heir Top five payers already cut short.

Madison Keys and Venus Williams are also going to miss out the event held on in between November 10-12 in which the two nations are going to face off each other in this meeting event.

The current top player in US Captain Kathy Rinaldi’s team is the world no. 35 Danielle Collins along with world no. 48 Sofia Kenin, world no. 63 Alison Riske and Nicole Melichar; the doubles specialist.

Alison Riske was also the part of the team that won the Fed Cup title against Belarus last year in Minsk. As for Collins, Kenin, and Melichar, this is their first Fed Cup.

On the Czechs side, who has already won 10 Fed Cups, they have world No. 7 Petra Kvitova and No 8 Karolina Pliskova along with doubles number No. 1 Katerina Siniakova and No. 5 Barbora Strycova.

These two nations have faced off each other twice in the finals of Fed Cup with USA winning back in 1986 in Prague and Czechoslovakia winning in 1985.
