Towns led Minnesota to top Miami by 113-104

On the Saturday night game of basketball between Minnesota Timberwolves VS Miami Heat, Karl-Anthony Towns led the Timberwolves with his 34 points and 18 rebounds for a win against the Miami Heat by 113-104.

In addition to these points, Towns also finished the night with his 7 assists and 6 blocked shots. The only player in the entire NBA history to have scored this many points, rebounds, assists, and blocks, is Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Kareem managed to do this in Lakers game against Phoenix Suns back in November of 1975. Kareem in that age scored 35 points, 19 rebounds, 9 assists, and 8 blocks.

Other players of Timberwolves like Robert Covington scored 16 points while Taj Gibson scored 14 points for the team. Both Andrew Wiggins and Dario Saric scored 13 points each whereas Tyus Jones scored 12 points.

As for Miami, they were led by Dwayne Wade who scored 21 points whereas Josh Richardson scored 17 points, Derrick Jones Jr. scored 16 points and Hassan Whiteside added in his 13 rebounds for the team.

Miami only managed to gain the lead once in the game and that was for only 25 seconds.

Up next, Minnesota Timberwolves will play against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday whereas Miami Heat will play against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.
