European Open; Kyle Edmund made it into the quarter finals after defeating Albert Ramos-Vinolas

Kyle Edmund was able to make it into the European Open quarter finals after defeating his opponents Albert Ramos Vinolas in a straight set win.

The Spaniard was beaten by British no. 1 by 6-0 and 6-2 in only 55 minutes in Antwerp. Now Kyle Edmund is qualified to face off against Belarus’ Ilya Ivashka in the clash of last eight.

Edmund, the world no. 15 was able to extend his performance after gaining a dominant victory over the world no. 64.

Edmund won the first set only in 30 minutes and stormed his way through the whole match in less than 1 hour.

Things did not go well for British No. 2 Cameron Norrie as he was narrowly beaten in the last 16 clash by hands of Diego Schwartzman.
