Detroit Pistons has now new Big Three and they are Andre Drummond, Blake Griffin and Reggie Jackson.
This Pistons Trio helped the team to win against the Houston Rockets on Friday night basketball game by 116-111 in overtime. The Big Three made combined 73 points and 33 rebounds.
They were also helped a little by a rookie of the team Bruce Brown. The head coach of Pistons Dwane Casey put Brown on the tail of Harden for the most of fourth quarter and in the OT.
Brown high on Harden’s tail with little help from other teammates stripped a possession off from Harden and left him scoreless in the OT. Although Brown was not happy with this assignment of keeping Harden occupied and he did it magnificently.
With this splendid work from Brown, other three Detroit Big Three were able to bag this game in their favor.
Jackson scored 22 points, Griffin added in 28 points whereas Drummond scored 23 points and 20 rebounds on the night.
Rockets were led by Harden who scored 33 points and Clint Capela finished for the night with his 29 points and 21 rebounds.
Rockets have now lost four of their five visiting games to Detroit and this is the first loss for the Rockets in the six games against the Eastern Conference this year.
Houston Rockets will now play against Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday whereas Pistons will host a game to Phoenix on Sunday night.
